Hunger is a feeling produced by your body, as a result of chemical changes in your body.  When your body has reached a low level of glucose in the blood stream, it is a natural fluctuation several hours after eating, the body reacts with hunger pangs  to inform you, it’s time to eat and regain the balance of glucose level in the blood.

Hunger is defined, as the need for food.  Your body always lets you know you’re running low on fuel and that food is required, to provide your body with the necessary energy (food), when it needs to perform an activity.  Hunger naturally protects the body from, depleting energy reserves.

How to Attain the State of True Hunger:

  • Do not eat, until you feel genuinely hungry.
  • Do not indulge in snacking, unless you are sure it is true hunger.
  • Do not indulge in overeating.
  • Do not eat a big dinner.
  • Don’t eat after dinner. Instead brush and floss, and stay away from food.
  • Discontinue or wean off caffeine, alcohol, salt, sweets, butter, processed foods, cheese, soft drinks ,smoking and illegal and legal drugs(if safe to do so).

True hunger requires no special food to fulfil it. It is satisfied, by eating almost anything. You are not required to carry around a scale and a calculator to, find out how much to eat. A healthy body will always, give you the correct signals, hence in order  to achieve an ideal weight, consume the correct amount of calories to maintain a lean body mass that will prolong your life, for which you must get back in touch with true hunger. Hence eat when hungry and don’t eat when not hungry.

The body needs time between meals to finish digesting, as when digestion has ended, the body can more effectually detoxify and surely boost cellular repair. To maximize health, it is not favourable to be constantly eating and digesting food. For most people who exercise regularly, three meals with no snacking is the norm. As a matter of fact, we require less food than most people realize. Once we get rid of the toxic hunger, our central nervous system can precisely measure and give us the correct signals, for maintaining our ideal weight on the right amount of calories. You will finally develop the skill of knowing, the correct amount of food to eat in each meal, because it eases your hunger, you feel contended, but not full and you are hungry again in time for the next meal.
